Cigar or slim body built to walk the dog — left-right, wounded baitfish on top. This one is finished in Walking Color B on a Walking bait — Slim body.

How to fish it

  • Rod tip down; twitch-twitch-pause so the body crosses side to side.
  • Keep a little slack so it can walk — a tight line kills the cadence.
  • After a non-committing follow on a bladed bait, slow this through the same water.

When it shines

Surface activity and days they look but won't eat a faster bait. Match color to water: clear leans light, muddy leans dark.

Tackle notes

  • Direct tie — no snap swivel (kills action). Fluorocarbon is a solid default; braid in heavy cover.
