Runs just under the surface and leaves a visible wake — a hard bait that looks like baitfish working the top of the column. This one is finished in Green Bass on a Wake bait — Style B body.

How to fish it

  • Steady retrieve to hold the wake; pause if they short-strike.
  • Work banks, points, and open water where bait is near the top.

When it shines

When fish are high in the column and you want a visible track without pure topwater. Match color to water: clear leans light, muddy leans dark.

  • Direct tie — no snap swivel (kills action). Fluorocarbon is a solid default; braid in heavy cover.
