Bottom
A multi-leg soft plastic that doesn’t imitate one bait only — bass see craw, perch, or bug depending on how you hop it. Strong when fish are tight to bottom or cover.
On the water
Texas-rig or jig-head it. Short hops and long pauses on the bottom; let the legs do the work. Upsize for open water, downsize in grass and when they want a finesse meal.
