Pro Tips

• The swimbait is the #1 lure experts recommend for new anglers. A 2.5-3" swimbait on a jig head, cast and retrieved at a steady pace, will catch bass, crappie, and panfish all day long.
• Pair with a jig head, underspin jig, or swim jig - all sold separately so you can mix and match sizes and colors. Soft plastics and jigs are bought separately because the combinations are endless.
• Scent-infused soft plastic triggers more strikes and makes fish hold on longer - giving beginners extra time to set the hook.
• Dark colors (black, blue, purple) for murky or stained water. Light, natural, and translucent colors for clear water. In very clear water, go smaller and use lighter line.
• Pre-spawn (water temps mid 50s to low 60s, usually January in North Texas): go big. Fish are feeding aggressively before the spawn and will chase larger profiles.
