The Double propeller frog is a topwater frog - one of the most exciting lures you can throw. Designed to be fished right over heavy vegetation, lily pads, and moss where bass hide and ambush prey. The double propeller legs kick and churn on the surface, creating extra commotion that draws bass out from deep in the cover.

Pro Tips

• Use a twitch-twitch-twitch-pause cadence - NOT a steady swimming retrieve. The twitches make it look alive, and the pause gives bass a chance to zero in and commit. Seeing a fish come from 10 feet away through the moss is an unforgettable experience.
• Critical: Do NOT set the hook when you see the strike! Wait until you FEEL the weight of the fish. This is the #1 mistake with frogs - bass often swirl at it before actually grabbing it. Pull too early and you'll miss every time.
• Perfect for ponds with heavy cover. Frogs are weedless, so you can throw them right into the nastiest stuff - moss mats, lily pads, flooded timber - where other lures would snag immediately.
• Use braid line for heavy cover - you need the strength to horse fish out of the grass. A medium-heavy to heavy rod gives you the backbone to drive the hook through the frog body and into the fish.
