The Chatter Bait - also known as a bladed swim jig - features a square metal blade up front that chatters through the water, creating an erratic vibration and deflecting action. It covers water quickly and triggers aggressive reaction strikes, making it one of the best "search baits" in your tackle box.

Pro Tips

• Cast and retrieve at a steady to moderate pace. The blade creates a unique chattering vibration that bass can feel from a distance - great for stained or murky water where visibility is low.
• Ideal for shallow water around grass edges, laydowns, and rocky banks. The blade deflects off cover instead of snagging, letting you fish aggressively through structure.
• If you get a big boil (swirl at the surface) but no hookup after 3-4 casts, the bass wants something slower. Switch to a walking bait, frog, or wacky worm in the same spot - the fish is still there and interested.
• Keep 5-6 rods rigged with different lures in the boat so you can make quick switches when fish tell you what they want.
• Dark colors for murky water, light or translucent colors for clear water. Pair with a paddle tail or swimbait trailer for added swimming action.
